Statutory Approvals

Initial consents for statutory approvals were lodged in 2001 and were considered by independent commissioners acting for North Shore City Council and Auckland Regional Council in hearing that commenced in December 2001.  There were over 1400 submissions presented at the hearings.

A small number of appeals to the commissioners were considered by the Environment Court in May 2003.
